Flight courses with the US Navy: recognition for Italian Navy officers
The Academic Achievement Award is a coveted award given only to a minimal rate of officers in training at flight schools in the United States Navy. To qualify, aspiring pilots must complete academic examinations provided for iter and re-entering the best 10% for all Student Naval Aviators in training.
On this occasion three patrons at the Marina (less than 2% of the total of the frequenters of the flight schools) have been awarded on the same day.
Only in recent months have been taken also:
three "Navy Excellence” for accuracy in air-to-ground training” (one for the STV smile Lady and two for the AUPC Marco R);
a "Student of the month” at the "Jet Training Squadron 9” (AUPC Raciti);
a Commodore List With Distinction in advanced training on multi-engined aircraft (GM David Callahan);
a Commodore basic single-engine aircraft List With Distinction in training (AUPC Vittorio Cottini).
