L’National Agency for Civil Aviation ’ and l’ Aeronautica Militare signed today, 10 July, a memorandum of understanding for the equivalence of Military pilot license the aircraft or helicopter commercial pilot licence, According to the requirements of the EU regulation on licensing of air crew n. 1178/2011.
The agreement enshrines the recognition that the training system on the ground and in the air of the pilots of the air force responds in full to European standards for civil licenses; the Protocol of recognition has been subjected to validation of’EASA – European Aviation Safety Agency.
As required by European legislation, the assessment of compliance with the requirements for the granting of licences to pilots involved on the part of the’ENAC a series of checks on the programs of training and training facilities of the air force which allowed us to submit to EASA a detailed conversion ratio that is derived from the agreement signed yesterday.
“This important protocol,” highlights a note, “It highlights once again the excellent cooperation between the two institutions that have a similar function in the field and in the fields of reference.”
