The Group SAVE, dell management company’Venice Tessera airport and ENAV, National Society for the management and control of air traffic, have completed integrating systems for the use of the procedure A-CDM (Airport Collaborative Decision Making) the airport of Venice.
The A-CDM is an integrated platform that transmits in real time Network Management Operations Centre of EUROCONTROL status information for all flights.
EUROCONTROL forwards this information to other airports connected, Optimizing air traffic flow and management of airport capacity, increasing punctuality of flights, reducing fuel consumption and the resulting environmental impact.
From Venice Tessera yesterday joined so to other European airports already connected to the Network Manager of EUROCONTROL (Monaco, Brussels, Paris CDG, Frankfurt, Helsinki, London Heathrow, Düsseldorf, Zurich, Oslo, Rome Fiumicino, Berlin Schoenefeld, Madrid, Stuttgart, Milan Malpensa and London Gatwick).
Thanks to the A-CDM all phases of a flight, from the flight plan to fly, from takeoff to landing until the next flight route, with its turn-round, are treated as a “unique process” connecting the departing flight with that coming, allowing you to optimise air traffic management and service operations, through constant exchange of information, updated in real time, between the operators involved.
