Universal Avionics presents at EBACE InSight Integrated Flight Deck with AMDB Jeppesen
The Universal Avionics InSight Integrated Flight Deck is the first system, in the market of Business Aviation, to use the Jeppesen Airport Mapping Databases (AMDB). With reliable access to worldwide airport information, accurate, timely and high quality, InSight Integrated Flight Deck system operators can benefit from improved efficiency and safety through improved situational awareness.
InSight Integrated Flight Deck's Synthetic Vision System (SVS) AMDB uses data to graph diagrams, accurate and high resolution, that will make it possible to know the actual and current signs on the slopes, parking areas, the buildings and other obstacles, the streets and areas under construction.
“Some of the busiest airports in Europe,” explains a note of Universal Avionics, “like London Heathrow (LHR), Paris Charles de Gualle (CDG) or Frankfurt (BETWEEN) I'm continually struggling with increased congestion, even when taxiing. This technological aid helps in improving the perception of the operator and complements the navigation of surface by increasing the margins of safety and operational efficiency.”
"We are proud of this partnership with Jeppesen to be the first to offer this unique technology to business aviation market,” said Dan Reida, Universal Avionics Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "The realistic view of the airport environment is truly unparalleled.”
