F-35: the first wing box produced in Italy enters the Lockheed Martin assembly line
The first wing box of’F-35A, manufactured in Italy by Finmeccanica – Alenia Aermacchi, He made his entrance in Fort Worth, aircraft production line. This is a real milestone in the collaboration between Lockheed Martin and Alenia Aermacchi under the programme.
Alenia Aermacchi has entirely produced the F-35 aircraft wing box at the plant FACO (Final Assembly and Check Out – Final Assembly and testing) the F-35 Cameri (in the province of Novara).
