Gabon one step away from civil war
Shatters a dream. One of the most emancipated Countries of Africa, example of stability and prosperity for many neighboring States, falls into the maelstrom of violence. Spark clashes that have caused deaths and injuries is the re-election of Ali Bongo at the presidential 27 August. The opposition front headed by Jean Ping did not accept the outcome, denouncing gerrymandering. Set fire to the Parliament of Libreville and threatened bloody consequences in the event of refusal of the appeal brought before the Constitutional Court.
