Great success for “Rome Expo Drone&Show 2015”, Second Edition of national Airshow on drones, held on the last weekend’Rome Urbe Airport. About 8,000 were visitors (with an increase of 30% with respect to the issue of 2014), who crowded the large "village” housed on the site of the historic Roman port airport. The other significant event numbers: 5 thousand square meters of exhibition area, In addition 60 Italian and foreign exhibitors, about 100 different models of civilian and military drones in view, an auditorium with 400 places that hosted 14 conventions and conferences, 220 accredited journalists. Many authorities who visited the Roman salon, including the Deputy President of the Senate, Valeria Fedeli, the Sub-Chief of staff of the air force, Paul Skinny, the Director of Technical Regulation of ENAC, Alexander Cameron, the President of the Aero Club of Italy, Giuseppe Leoni, the President of the Italian Federation for Aerospace Defence and Security (NAIA), Guido Crosetto.
During the three days of the event, a detailed programme of meetings and conferences was held in the Auditorium housed in the hangar of the State Forestry Corps. Great public participation especially at Inaugural Conference "Italy of the drones", the first "Meeting of women open pilot” and the meeting of vocational guidance for young people "Drone Job Day".
