Sunexpress inaugurates flights from Milan and Rome to Smyrna
Sunexpress, airline born in 1989 as a joint venture Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines, debuts in Italy and opens the first non-stop scheduled flights to Turkey.
From 1 May, the first direct link between Milan Malpensa and Izmir will be operational, operated with two frequencies per week, every Monday and Friday, with a Boeing 737-800 by 189 posts.
The SunExpress flight will take off every Monday and Friday at 18:45 Malpensa and will arrive in Izmir at 22:30. The return flight will depart from the Turkish city at 15:55 to land in Malpensa at 17:55.
At the same time, the direct link between Rome Fiumicino and Izmir will also start, operated with two frequencies per week every Monday and Friday.
The flight will depart every Monday and Friday at 8:30 Fiumicino and will arrive in Izmir at 11:55. The return flight will depart from the Turkish city at 6:05 to land in the capital at 7:35.
