United Airlines opens direct flight between Rome and Chicago
Sunday 17 may, United Airlines launched direct flight between Rome and its hub in Chicago, O'hare International Airport. The service will be operated until 24 September 2015.
Marcel Fuchs, managing director sales at United – Continental Europe, He inaugurated the link with a ceremony all’Leonardo da Vinci airport of Rome Fiumicino.
“We are thrilled to have introduced new non-stop connections between the eternal city and the Windy City”, He said Fuchs. “These new flights are creating a wider choice and more convenience for our Italian customers, not only travel to Chicago, but other American destinations via O'Hare hub of United. It is an ideal supplement to our non-stop services already operating from Rome to New York and Washington DC, from Milan to New York and – starting next month – da Venezia per New York”.
