Wizz Air announced a new five-year partnership agreement with two organizations for the advanced training of pilots for pilot training cadets to be inserted in the company. The courses will begin by September 2015 and initially will involve up to 40 cadets per year. These training programs will be provided under the rules of’EASA and will include training for an integrated ATPL license combined with enabling to Airbus A320.
“Following a competitive race and of an evaluation process,” explains a note of low cost airline, “Wizz Air has chosen the CTC Aviation And the Central European Flight Academy to conduct training. The young graduates will learn and develop relevant skills and focused on operational needs of Wizz Air to support the significant growth of the airline with high-level copilots trained full time as airline pilots. The Cadet program will allow graduates to enter the airline directly as copilots Airbus A320 aircraft on the Wizz Air network after receiving a full training. The new co-pilots will have excellent career opportunities to the rank of Captain, After acquiring the necessary years of experience in the airline. Wizz Air will provide a guarantee to work (subject to the achievement of competence) behind the successful completion of the training, witnessing so apprentices in accessing funding required for the program. This guarantee from the beginning is uncommon in the aviation industry and is a sign of the commitment of the airline in finding pilots cadets at the top level in the market.”
