Il Senato USA ha proposto $21.35 miliardi per 9 nuove navi nel FY 2021, ma manca all’appello il secondo Virginia

Martedì 10 novembre il comitato del Senato degli Stati Uniti preposto alle allocazioni di fondi ha proposto di destinare 21.35 miliardi di dollari per la costruzione di nove nuove unità navali per il FY2021 consistenti in: un sottomarino classe Virginia, un battello classe Columbia, una fregata classe Constellation, una nave anfibia LPD-17, due cacciatorpedinieri classe Burke, due navi soccorso T-ATS ed una Expeditionary Fast Transport, ma non è presente nella relazione la richiesta per l’acquisto di una nave EPF.
