LOT Polish Airlines unveils cabins for its future A220 fleet: pictures
LOT Polish Airlines unveiled the cabin interior design for its future Airbus A220 aircraft on August 27, 2025.
The Polish airline will offer two classes of service onboard its A220s within a single cabin.
At a joint press conference during the Paris Air Show in June 2025, LOT and Airbus announced that the Polish carrier had selected the A220 to replace its current Embraer E-Jets and expand its regional fleet, with the carrier firming an order for 20 A220-100s.
These aircraft will be fitted with 125 seats, and 20 of the larger A220-300 model, with 149 seats. The carrier also acquired options for 44 additional A220s in the future. These aircraft will be powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1500G engines.
LOT’s A220s will join the fleet gradually between 2027 and 2031.
When it comes to the aircraft interior, all of LOT’s A220s will be fitted with Airbus’ state-of-the-art Airspace cabin and fitted with RECARO R2 seats. These lightweight seats, which will be produced at the German seat maker’s factory in Świebodzin, Poland, will feature integrated device holders and 60W USB-C power outlets.
LOT has also confirmed that its A220s will be fitted with internet connectivity, a move that had previously been announced by the Polish carrier for its long-haul fleet.
