United Airlines resumes flights to Tel Aviv from Chicago and Washington D.C.

United Airlines has announced that it is to resume flight services to Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion International Airport (TLV) from Chicago O’Hare Airport (ORD) and Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). The airline last operated these routes in 2023. 

Flights from Chicago are scheduled to begin on November 1, 2025 with four weekly departures, while Washington, D.C. flights will start on November 2, 2025 and run three times per week.

Currently, United operates two daily flights between Tel Aviv and New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK). 

According to the airline, during 2025 it has flown to Tel Aviv more than any other US airline. United noted that its flight services to Tel Aviv are based on careful evaluations of operational, safety, and security conditions in the region. 

United was the first airline to resume services to Tel Aviv after the 12-day regional conflict between Israel and Iran between June-July 2025.

“The resumption of these flights underscores United’s longstanding commitment to Tel Aviv,” said Patrick Quayle, United’s Senior Vice President of Global Network Planning and Alliances.
