CHRIS AT BURGOS AIRPORT (SPAIN) FLYBY
Krzysztof “Chris” Niewiadomski is the talented photographer and content creator working for Tecnam. Specializing in aviation photography, Chris travels to different locations worldwide, capturing stunning images of Tecnam’s aircraft in action.
This year’s summer photo and videoshooting expeditions to Tecnam customers and users were focused on Europe. Key destination was the launch customer of the new P2006T NG: FlyBy which is one of Europe’s largest flight schools operating out of Spain.
This ATO is truly impressive. Its headquarters are located at Burgos Airport in northern Spain, and The number of Tecnams on the ramp is staggering. It’s no wonder, when you have over 350 students from over 115 countries, you have to offer the highest quality available without delay. Tecnams covers the full spectrum of integrated training, starting with the P2008JC MkII,
through the P-Mentor, and ending with the recently introduced Tecnam P2006T NG they also operate the previous P2006T MkII version in the fleet). Speaking with the first pilots who flew the Next Generation, I have no illusions, this aircraft perfects training while maintaining cost-effectiveness unmatched by other aircraft for professional license training.
Everything happens quickly in Burgos; pilots and instructors operate in a clever organized system, with ground training, flight planning and briefing taking place in the controlled LEBG airport offices and classrooms, right next to the terminal. Pilots are exposed to commercial air traffic with quick access to Tecnam aircraft on the ramp flying over the beautiful landscapes, yet a bit windy during the year. “The integrated program allows us to forget all our worries and focus solely on flying. The school offers meals, accommodation, and transportation, which is why you can develop your aviation career so quickly and safely here” – says Vanessa Celine Leipholz, FlyBy Country Manager, who recently completed the full professional license training process in Burgos.
