FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, Germany – April 24, 2026 – Live from the AERO Friedrichshafen exhibition, Tecnam is proud to announce a new partnership with A-VIATOR, a fast-growing Belgian flight school. To support its rapid expansion, A-VIATOR has officially committed to standardizing its fleet with Tecnam, marked by today’s order for a new P2008JC NG.
Fully operational since April 2023 and based in Kortrijk-Wevelgem, Belgium, A-VIATOR has experienced remarkable success. In 2025, the academy doubled its student base compared to the previous year, reflecting its increasing market recognition and high-quality PPL and Night VFR training programs. In 2026, the school will further expand its portfolio with the introduction of BIR and CBIR programs, an important step toward offering a complete modular professional pilot pathway.
Standardization and Efficiency
This strong expansion has brought A-VIATOR to a new phase where further development is closely linked to fleet capacity. Following the highly successful introduction of their first Tecnam aircraft—a P2010—in March 2026, the academy has chosen to transition its entire fleet to Tecnam.
This strategic step provides A-VIATOR with a high level of standardization, significantly improving operational efficiency, maintenance planning, and pilot training consistency. The new P2008JC NG perfectly complements this vision. As a modern, fuel-efficient, and highly pilot-friendly trainer, it allows A-VIATOR to offer a more advanced and reliable environment while drastically reducing operating costs and emissions.
