GIOVANNI PASCALE LANGER APPOINTED CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, PAOLO PASCALE LANGER ASSUMES THE PRESIDENCY
The third generation at the helm of the Capua-based aeronautical company. At the center of the new phase: international growth, digitalization, and the quality of Made in Italy.
CAPUA, October 14, 2026 – The Board of Directors of Costruzioni Aeronautiche Tecnam S.p.A. has unanimously appointed Giovanni Pascale Langer as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Paolo Pascale Langer, who has guided Tecnam in recent decades, accompanying its growth and international affirmation, assumes the position of President. The appointments are effective as of October 8, 2026.
With this transition, the third generation of the Pascale family takes the helm of an aeronautical company whose roots date back to 1948. Under the leadership of Paolo Pascale, Tecnam has become one of the world’s leading manufacturers in general aviation, with over 8,500 aircraft delivered in more than 60 countries.
“In the cockpit, when handing over the controls, we say ‘You have control’. Today I say it to Giovanni, with confidence and pride,” states Paolo Pascale Langer, President of Tecnam. “He learned this trade from the ground up and over the years has become a recognized leader by our customers, our partners, and our people, in Italy and around the world. He has the competence, the vision, and the character to keep Tecnam flying with the ambition and determination to go ever further. I will remain by his side.”
Born in 1991, Giovanni Pascale Langer joined Tecnam as an apprentice assembler, working on the production line and in various company departments. A commercial pilot, having earned his license in the United States and then in Italy, he combines industrial knowledge of the product with that of someone who flies it every day. Appointed Managing Director in 2019, he worked alongside Paolo Pascale in the management of the company, leading commercial development in international markets – from Australia to the United States, from India to South America – and directly overseeing the operations in Capua and Tecnam US. Since then, he has made a decisive contribution to the company’s commercial and revenue growth. In October 2019, he personally flew from Capua to Boston, across the Atlantic, at the controls of the P2012 Traveller, an 11-seat twin-engine aircraft, to deliver the first unit to the launch customer.
As CEO, Giovanni Pascale Langer will lead Tecnam into a new phase of growth, with four priorities: strengthening international positioning, expanding the offer of products and services, accelerating digitalization, and evolving industrial processes. All this while combining the reliability that has distinguished the company’s history with an attention to design and details so that every Tecnam aircraft is a proud ambassador of Italian quality in the world.
“Today our history is no longer measured by how we started, but by how far we have come,” states Giovanni Pascale Langer, Chief Executive Officer of Tecnam. “And the road ahead of us is even more ambitious. We want Tecnam to be the global benchmark in general aviation: the aircraft on which the new generation of pilots trains, the one that connects territories where large carriers do not reach, the one that carries the signature of Italian quality wherever it lands. We have the people, the products, and the credibility to do it. I thank Paolo and the entire Board of Directors for the trust with which they entrust me with the controls: the route is traced.”
