Indonesia’s Ministry of Defense says no plan to buy MV-22s
The Secretary General of Indonesia’s Ministry of Defense has said on Jul. 8 that Jakarta has no plan to buy the MV-22 tilt-rotor.

Donny Ermawan Taufanto made the comments to reporters outside Parliament complex. He added that Indonesia’s priorities are to buy locally assembled aircraft for its needs.
The U.S. government had announced on Jul. 6 that Indonesia has been cleared to buy 8 Ospreys.
