The twin-engine Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) Westwind Astra 1125 private jet left Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) in Florida on March 10, 2024, but diverted to Hot Springs a few hours into its journey.

Upon crashing the Westwind Astra 1125 private jet burst into flames, resulting in the deaths of all those onboard.
“At this time, it appears there were four adults and one juvenile onboard the aircraft. All five, which includes the pilot, died at the scene,” a spokesperson for Virginia State Police said.
