The Russian United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) is presenting its latest innovations at the Army-2024 International Military-Technical Forum, taking place from August 12 to 14 in Russia. The UAC demo center features an updated multimedia exhibit, along with a lineup of aircraft models produced by the corporation’s enterprises, including the Su-34, Su-57, Su-30SM, Yak-130, Il-76MD-90A, MiG-31, and MiG-35. Interactive information panels allow visitors to explore the technical specifications of these aircraft. The outdoor area of the demo center showcases UAC’s new programs, including the Yak-130M aircraft, which was highlighted on August 12, 2024, and a full-scale prototype of a new unmanned transport system designed for off-airport operations, featuring the vertical takeoff and landing aircraft S-76.
As part of the forum, UAC has organized a special historical exhibition dedicated to the 90th anniversaries of the Irkutsk Aviation Plant and the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aviation Plant, named after Yuri Gagarin, as well as the 85th anniversaries of UAC’s two main design bureaus, the Sukhoi Design Bureau and the Mikoyan Design Bureau. The exhibition highlights key moments in the development of these design bureaus and production facilities, which have played a crucial role in creating and manufacturing unique aviation equipment.
Additionally, a special multimedia exhibit in Pavilion No. 1 at Patriot Park is dedicated to the 85th anniversaries of the Sukhoi and Mikoyan design bureaus. Since their inception, these bureaus have been at the forefront of implementing innovative design concepts and developing some of the best military aircraft. The forum showcases the most significant projects from both bureaus, embodying the most advanced engineering ideas. The exhibition also introduces the people behind major scientific discoveries and the creation of world-class aviation technologies, who tested the aircraft and set world records. The interactive nature of the exhibition allows visitors to experience a range of the latest technologies in Russian aircraft manufacturing, including the use of augmented reality.
