Textron delivers 400th Cessna Citation Latitude private jet 9 years after launch
Textron Aviation delivered the 400th Cessna Citation Latitude private jet less than 10 years after the popular aircraft came to market.
As the world’s most-delivered midsize private jet over the last eight years, the Cessna Citation Latitude has become synonymous with reliability and versatility.
In May 2024, Textron announced that the 400th Cessna Citation Latitude private jet had rolled out of production at the company’s facility in Wichita, Kansas
And now it can be confirmed that the 400th aircraft was delivered to longtime customer Simmons Foods with the jet joining the family run firm’s existing fleet of three Citation jets.
Textron AviationBased in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Simmons Foods utilizes the aircraft to enhance the efficiency of its company’s business travel, in which operations are managed across multiple locations.
“The delivery of the 400th Citation Latitude is a testament to the aircraft’s superior design and a proud moment for our team,” said Lannie O’Bannion, Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Flight Operations for Textron Aviation. “This milestone not only reinforces the Latitude’s status as the leader in the midsize jet segment, but also underscores our commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, setting new standards for comfort, efficiency and performance in the aviation industry.”
The Citation Latitude private jet has a four-passenger range of 2,700 nautical miles but can carry up to nine passengers, according to Textron.
Textron AviationThe aircraft can fly nonstop between destinations such as New York and Los Angeles or Vancouver and Guatemala City.
According to Textron, the Citation Latitude is the preferred choice among customers for a wide range of operations, including corporations, charter, personal travel, air ambulance, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), utility transport, aerial survey, flight inspection, training and numerous other specialized missions.

The Citation Latitude private jet was first certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in 2025.
