Air Calin to offer flights between Paris, Bangkok and New Caledonia
Air Calin, the airline of the French overseas territory of New Caledonia, has announced that it will be offering flights between Paris-CDG and Bangkok (BKK), starting from December 11, 2024.
This new nonstop connection between France and Thailand will be operated as part of the longer route linking Noumea’s La Tontouta International Airport (NOU) in New Caledonia, to Paris-CDG, with a stopover in Bangkok.
The airline first declared news of this service in September 2024, but until this latest announcement it was expected that the Bangkok stop would be purely technical, with no traffic allowed to board or disembark in the Thai capital.
Air Calin will operate its new service to metropolitan France twice weekly, departing Paris on Wednesdays and Saturdays, using Airbus A330-900neo aircraft. The planes in question feature a three-class configuration, with 26 ‘Hibiscus’ business class seats and 21 and 244 seats in premium economy and economy class respectively.
Paris will be the first destination in Europe for Air Calin, which already operates a sizable network throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
