Emirates introduces new A380s with updated cabins to Manchester and Milan

Emirates is set to introduce its newest Airbus A380 aircraft, featuring its latest cabin designs, to Manchester and Milan. 

The newly retrofitted A380s will begin flights from Dubai International Airport (DXB) to Manchester Airport (MAN) on June 6, 2025, and to Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) on July 1, 2025, Emirates announced in a statement on April 9, 2025. 

With the introduction of Emirates’ newly retrofitted A380 to Manchester, the Gulf airline said it will increase its Premium Economy capacity to nearly 5,000 seats weekly for flights to and from the UK. 

The enhanced service to Manchester will complement the existing four daily retrofitted A380 flights on the Dubai-London Heathrow (LHR) route, along with the Emirates A350 to Edinburgh and the upcoming refurbished Boeing 777, which will start operating to London Stansted (STN) in May 2025. 

Meanwhile, Milan will become the second city in Italy to feature Emirates’ latest cabin offerings and Premium Economy seats, following the planned introduction of the A350 to Bologna (BLQ) later in June 2025. 

These additions will bring the total number of retrofitted A380 destinations in Emirates’ network to 19 global points. 

According to Emirates, by July 2025, passengers traveling from Manchester and Milan will be able to experience Emirates’ latest cabin features onboard the four-class A380 on the full journey to key points across Australasia and Asia including Sydney, Singapore, Osaka, Mumbai, Bangalore. 

In the four-class Emirates A380, the Premium Economy cabin is located at the front of the main deck with 56 seats laid out in a 2-4-2 configuration. Emirates said that each seat “offers generous pitch and width for working and relaxing, as well as customized features like in-seat charging points and a side cocktail table.” 

The onboard experience is enhanced with meticulously selected in-flight amenities, a curated menu, and extensive beverage options, including the Chandon Vintage Brut 2016, a global exclusive to Emirates Premium Economy passengers, the airline concluded. The post Emirates introduces new A380s with updated cabins to Manchester and Milan appeared first on AeroTime.
