Air France-KLM begins Transavia brand refresh with new A320neo at Airbus Hamburg
Air France-KLM Group has taken the first step to implement a brand refresh of its low-cost carrier Transavia, starting with an Airbus A320neo currently being assembled in Hamburg.
Air France-KLM announced on June 24, 2025, that the “subtle” change will progressively be rolled out across a new website, airport signage, as well as an updated aircraft livery.
Central to the brand refresh will be the Transavia logo which will “evolve to be more modern and powerful, while embodying the sense of boldness which characterizes the brand”.
Passengers and customers will begin to notice in the coming months that the Transavia green synonymous with the airline will remain in a new, softer shade.
“As Transavia continues to grow, in line with the expansion of its fleet and network, Air France-KLM has decided to refresh its brand, in a subtle way,” a spokesperson for Transavia said.
Air France-KLMA first glimpse at the update can be seen in a photo of the latest A320neo at the Airbus facility in Germany. The aircraft is due to be delivered to Transavia France later this year.
For now, only the tailfin has been revealed, but Air France-KLM said the entire livery will be revealed very soon.
Air France-KLM said that the brand has become a familiar name for travelers across Europe with 23 million passengers travelling with Transavia last year – an 8.1% increase from 2023.
According to ch-aviation, Transavia France currently operates an active fleet of 17 A320neos and 64 Boeing 737-800s. The airline is currently awaiting delivery of one more A320neo.
