Air France launches new route between Paris and Phuket, Thailand 

Air France announced on April 16, 2025, that it will be launching a new destination in Thailand during the 2025/26 winter season. 

Starting on November 27, 2025, the French flag carrier will fly nonstop three times per week between its hub at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) and Phuket International Airport (HKT). 

The new service, which is awaiting approval from the Thai government, will be operated by Boeing 777-300ER aircraft fitted with 472 seats. 

The outbound flight will depart the French capital on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at 15:50 returning to Europe the next day at 11:50, all times local. 

Phuket, a major tourist destination in southern Thailand, will become be Air France’s second destination in Thailand after Bangkok (BKK), which the French carrier serves daily from Paris-CDG. 

Air France’s new Phuket service is the latest in a number of long-haul capacity increases announced so far in 2025. 

On March 18, 2025, the French carrier announced that in May 2025 it would be adding Riyadh (RUH) and Orlando (MCO) to its network, both destinations to be serviced from Paris-CDG by A350-900 aircraft.  

Other existing routes will also see capacity expanded, such as New York-JFK, with the addition of a seventh daily flight (one of which is already fitted with the new La Première first class) and Papeete (PPT), in French Polynesia, which will be served daily via Los Angeles (LAX). 

Routes linking Paris-CDG to Salvador de Bahia (SSA), Lima (LIM), Rio de Janeiro (GIG), Sint Maarten (SXM), Brazzaville (BZV), Manila (MNL), Nairobi (NBO), Zanzibar (ZNZ) and Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) will also see capacity added through a combination of additional frequencies, up-gauged aircraft and the extension of the seasonal flight program. The post Air France launches new route between Paris and Phuket, Thailand  appeared first on AeroTime.
