Air Show. The Somme International Airshow
A must-see event at the end of summer, the Somme Air Show—now known as “The Somme International Airshow”—will certainly live up to its reputation this year. As always!
In all, more than a hundred aircraft will be on display—either in the air or on the ground—at this prestigious event, which will take place this year on Saturday, August 29. For the 2026 edition of what is now known as the “Somme International Airshow,” the lineup will be traditional and quite impressive at Amiens Henry-Potez International Airport, located in the town of Méaulte. See for yourself—the tentative program looks very promising.
On the ground, an air show village, booths for the general public, food courts, flight simulators, and more. In the sky: the Alphajets of the Patrouille de France, the Airbus A400-M, the French Air and Space Force Aerobatics Team, and helicopters from the Army’s Light Aviation unit. Also worth noting is the presence of aircraft from the British Royal Air Force, the Belgian Air Force, and the air forces of more distant countries, such as Jordan and Poland… Not to mention British aerobatic teams like Team Raven and Global Stars, several gliders, a few helicopters, and reenactments of aerial battles from World War I and World War II. A classic event, yet comprehensive!
Event: The Somme International Airshow. Saturday, August 29, 2026. Amiens Henry Potez International Airport, 1 rue Henry Potez, 80300 Méaulte.
