Allegiant introduces new nonstop routes, adds US city to growing network
Allegiant is introducing five new nonstop routes connecting eight US cities as the airline looks to expand its growing presence in popular leisure destinations.
On August 12, 2025, Allegiant said that as part of the new routes, Huntsville, Alabama via Huntsville International Airport (HSV), would be added to its growing network.
The new routes will go live later this year and in early 2026. The additional routes follows a similar announcement in July 2025, when Allegiant confirmed seven new nonstop routes connecting 12 cities in the US.
“This expansion reflects our commitment to connecting underserved communities with affordable, convenient travel options,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s CCO. “By adding Fort Myers and increasing service to multiple beach cities, we’re providing travelers nonstop access to sunny destinations, meaning they spend less time at the airport and more time on vacation.”
The new routes between Huntsville Airport include flights to/from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) from November 19, 2025, and to/from St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) in St Petersburg, Florida, from March 5, 2026.
On February 12, 2026, a new route between Huntsville Airport and Sanford, Florida via Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) will also begin.
Other new routes announced include between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Appleton, Wisconsin via Appleton International Airport (ATW) from January 16, 2026.
Plus between Sarasota/Bradenton, Florida via Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) and Rochester, New York via Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC) from February 13, 2026.
“As more travelers seek value-driven travel options, Allegiant remains dedicated to making dream vacations possible with budget-friendly fares and excellent customer service,” added a spokesperson for the airline.
In addition to unveiling new routes, Allegiant has extended its flight schedule through May 2026.
