By the industry, for the industry: A new era for EBACE
For more than two decades, EBACE has been the focal point for the European Business Aviation community. It has offered an essential platform to meet, network and do business. But the industry doesn’t stand still and neither should the event at its centre.
EBACE by the EBAA
For the first time, EBACE is now run solely by the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA). Following an amicable and constructive transition from our former partners at the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), this shift marks more than a change in management: EBACE25 will be the first show that is truly by the industry, for the industry.
As a not-for-profit organisation, the EBAA is committed to serving the needs of its members. That same ethos now shapes EBACE itself. We’ve taken time to listen to stakeholder feedback, and across the industry people are calling for more efficient networking, better access to decision-makers and content that inspires. Our aim is to create the most valuable experience possible for our exhibitors, attendees, sponsors and media partners.
Proceeds from the show are reinvested into promoting and protecting the interests of Business Aviation across Europe. EBACE is now a strategic tool to advance the community’s ambitions, with networking at its heart.
A reimagined show floor
This year’s edition, taking place from 20 – 22 May 2025 at Palexpo in Geneva, reflects a bold reimagining of what EBACE can and should be. From the moment attendees step into the venue, they’ll experience something different.
We’ve completely redesigned the show floor. Visitors will find a streamlined, high-energy environment built for connection. A centrally located registration zone, five dedicated networking lounges and three dynamic conference stages ensure that no matter your interest – operations, innovation or strategic insight – there’s a space built for you.
This is the layout that maximises footfall to exhibitor booths, whist offering ample opportunity for meaningful conversations. The addition of networking lounges and pods designed to host private meetings for up to four people, EBACE makes it easy to catch up, talk business or forge new partnerships in a comfortable setting.
Enhanced conference content
One of the most exciting new elements of EBACE25 is our refreshed conference programme. Designed to spotlight the trends shaping Business Aviation in Europe, the agenda spans three major stages: AIROPS, Innovation & Sustainability and the Flight Daily News Live stage. Each space delivers content tailored to its audience, from operational best practices and regulatory updates to breakthrough technologies and sustainability pathways.
FlightGlobal editors will host a daily “Behind the Headlines” segment each morning, followed by a “Big Interview” that brings prominent industry leaders to the stage for candid conversations about the future of our sector.
Alongside, attendees can explore developments in Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), more sustainable propulsion and digital transformation on our Innovation & Sustainability stage. The AIROPS agenda will cover a range of topics such as anti-tankering, taxation and cybersecurity.
Unmatched networking opportunities
The changes go beyond structure and content. For the first time, we’re introducing the EBACE Welcome Celebration. On the afternoon of Tuesday, 20 May, the industry will gather in the Central Networking Lounge to reconnect over drinks and music. It’s a moment to celebrate the resilience, creativity and community that define our sector. The special evening will offer the chance for guests to ease into the energy of the show and celebrate what brings us all together, while setting the tone for a new chapter in the show’s evolution.
Some will notice the absence of a static display this year. That decision wasn’t taken lightly. Planning an event of this scale usually takes more than a year. Given the transition timeline, we made a strategic choice to prioritise content, community and return on investment (ROI) over tradition. Many of our members have told us that real business happens on the show floor. By shifting resources toward content quality and networking infrastructure, we’re enhancing the show’s core value proposition.
The enthusiasm from across the sector has been encouraging. Confirmed exhibitors already include industry leaders like Lufthansa Technik, Rolls-Royce, Leonardo, GoGo Business Aviation and Falcon. Equally exciting is the diversity of companies joining us, ranging from tech innovators and SMEs to sustainability pioneers. Their voices are essential to the future of Business Aviation and EBACE is evolving to amplify them.
The future of EBACE
It’s worth emphasising that EBACE25 is a transitional edition. We knew some longstanding participants wouldn’t be able to adjust their plans in time, so rather than dilute the experience, we opted to focus on quality over quantity, while laying the foundation for a stronger, more impactful return in 2026. This is a long-term vision. Europe needs a central gathering for Business Aviation, a hub of innovation, collaboration and commercial momentum. EBACE is that hub.
The measure of EBACE’s success isn’t how many people attend or how many square metres are sold. It’s whether we, as an industry, leave more informed, better connected and more capable of driving meaningful progress. That’s the responsibility we’ve taken on.
This is more than a facelift. It’s a fundamental reset that aligns the event with the unique challenges and opportunities our industry faces. We can’t wait to welcome you in May as we unveil a completely reimagined EBACE.The post By the industry, for the industry: A new era for EBACE appeared first on AeroTime.
