The second Akıncı unmanned combat aerial vehicle has flown at 20,000ft for the first time. The aircraft took off at 14:14 local time and was airborne for 2 hours and 26 minutes. It made its maiden flight on Aug. 14.
The Kronstadt Group of Russia has revealed the specification of the loyal wingman unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) that it is developing. Wingspan is 10 meters, height is 3.8 meters and length is 13.8 meters. Maxiumum take-off weight is 7,000kg with a payload of 2,000 kg. It will be called Thunder.
