Cebu Pacific adds 5 new routes to China, Vietnam, and Japan for Q4 2026
Cebu Pacific (CEB) has announced that it is to add five new and resumed international routes to China, Vietnam, and Japan starting in the fourth quarter, expanding the Philippine carrier’s international network ahead of the holiday travel season.
Vietnam connections return first
The rollout is to begin on October 26, when Cebu Pacific will restore direct flights between Mactan-Cebu International Airport (CEB) and Ho Chi Minh’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport Airport (SGN), operating three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
The route will provide travelers from the Central Visayas region of the Philippines with an easier way to explore one of Vietnam’s largest and most historic cities.
Clark gets its own Vietnam connection shortly after, as Cebu Pacific relaunches direct flights between Clark International Airport (CRK) and Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) starting November 19, 2026.
Flights depart Clark three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with the return leg from Hanoi beginning November 20, 2026.
Cebu Pacific has highlighted that it remains the only airline flying nonstop between Clark and Vietnam, sparing travelers from Central Luzon a trip through Manila.
New route to Shanghai, plus Nagoya makes its debut
On November 17, 2026, Cebu Pacific will begin flying three times weekly between Cebu and Shanghai, China, with outbound flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and return flights from Shanghai starting the next day.
The airline will be the only Philippine carrier offering direct service between the two cities, it notes.
On November 19, 2026, Cebu Pacific will add Nagoya, Japan, to its map, with four weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Nagoya is the largest city in central Japan and becomes the third Japanese destination Cebu Pacific flies to directly from Cebu, joining Tokyo-Narita and Osaka.
The airline stresses that it is currently the only carrier offering nonstop flights between the two cities.
Manila-Xiamen route rounds out the expansion
Cebu Pacific caps off its fourth-quarter additions with the resumption of direct flights between Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) and Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport (XMN) in China, starting November 23, 2026.
The route will run twice weekly, on Mondays and Fridays, adding to the airline’s existing Manila service to Shanghai and Guangzhou.
Growing the network, one route at a time
Cebu Pacific President and Chief Commercial Officer Xander Lao declared that the airline is continuing to build out its network to open up more of Asia to Filipino travelers.
He said that the new routes to China, Vietnam, and Japan are intended to make it easier for passengers across the Philippines to reach these cities, while in turn encouraging more visitors from abroad to discover the Philippines.
Cebu Pacific currently flies to 35 destinations within the Philippines and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia and the Middle East.
