Condor orders 4 more A330-900neo aircraft to further expand long-haul fleet
German-based leisure airline Condor has placed an order for four additional long-haul A330-900neo aircraft from Airbus as part of its strategy to focus on long-haul flights.
According to a statement published by the airline on July 17, 2025, the Supervisory Board approved the order earlier this week. With the addition of the four new aircraft, Condor’s fleet will expand to a total of 25 A330neo aircraft by 2031.
“By ordering additional long-haul aircraft, we intend to open up new opportunities in the international business and continue the successful strategy of growth seen in recent years,” said Condor CEO Peter Gerber.
According to Gerber, in the summer 2025 flight schedule, the airline will provide customers with “a completely standardized product to all long-haul destinations for the first time.”
“The consistently positive customer feedback and the operational stability prove that we are on the right track to continue to count on the A330neo in the future,” Gerber said.
The airline also said that the expansion of its fleet “supports the commitment in the long-haul segment” which also benefits from the new Condor city flight destinations. According to the airline, these destinations provide travelers with more choices for travel across Europe, along with connections to the Condor long-haul network.
The airline completed the renewal of its long-haul fleet in 2024. Since then, the leisure carrier said that travelers on long-haul routes have enjoyed “a consistent product that offers customer comfort, significantly more space, connectivity and free in-flight entertainment.”
Condor said it has also agreed to an option for another four additional A330neo aircraft, and a decision on further orders has not yet been made.
Currently, Condor operates 18 A330neo aircraft, with three more anticipated by the end of 2027. Starting in summer 2025, Condor will operate its long-haul routes solely with brand-new Airbus A330-900neo aircraft.
