From October 2023 to March 2024, the unmissable exhibition “The Golden Age of Aviation” is being hosted by the National Air and Space Museum of France in Le Bourget.
For the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024, the National Air and Space Museum in Le Bourget is pulling out all the stops and inviting you to a temporary exhibition that flies above the rest – no pun intended. The event focuses on the “Golden Age of Aviation”, and offers a look back at the period between the two world wars, from 1919 to 1939 – a time during which aviation took great leaps forward.
Rare and, most importantly, previously unseen collections from the reserves of the Air and Space Museum will be presented to the public, across an area of 1000 m2, in a way that promises to be dynamic and entertaining – and therefore perfectly suited to a young audience. It all takes place in an Art Deco setting, starting with the building that houses the Museum, since it actually dates from that period! Moreover, the event draws attention to a rarely examined parallel, exploring the influence of the emergence of aviation on the artistic trends in vogue during the 1920s and 1930s.
In short, if you are in Paris or the surrounding area, be sure to visit Le Bourget to admire an unmistakably vintage exhibition that is sure to be talked about!
