France cleared to buy 3 E-2Ds

The U.S. government has informed Congress on the potential Foreign Military Sale of three E-2D Hawkeyes to France on Jul. 6.

The package is worth an estimated cost of $2 billion and France is getting four extra T-56-427A engines as spares.
