German Pilots Training in Israel on Heron TP Unmanned Aircraft
ISRAEL — The new Heron TP drone enables detailed aerial reconnaissance by day and night. It can also be armed, thus closing a capability gap in the Bundeswehr. Twelve German soldiers are currently being trained in Israel as drone pilots and sensor operators for reconnaissance flights.
