Hawaiian Airlines boosts LAX, SEA, SYD service, introduces B787 to Tokyo route
Hawaiian Airlines is ramping up its Winter 2025 services to the US West Coast and Australia, and will introduce the Boeing B787 Dreamliner to its Tokyo route.
For travel starting in January 2025 through mid-April, Hawaiian Airlines will deploy its B787 aircraft to services between Seattle Tacoma Airport (SEA) and Narita International Airport (NRT) in Tokyo. The Dreamliner features the airline’s new Leihōkū Suites with lie-flat seating, enhanced privacy, and direct aisle access
To meet increased travel demands during winter and summer in the Southern Hemisphere, Hawaiian will boost its services between Honolulu’s Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) and Sydney Kingsford Smith International Airport (SYD).
From December 8, 2025 and January 31, 2026, Hawaiian will increase flights between Honolulu and Sydney from five flights a week to daily.
For the airline’s services between Honolulu and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), a fifth daily flight operated by an Airbus A321neo will be added during two peak travel windows: from November 21 – December 1, 2025, and December 19, 2025 to January 6, 2026.
For services between Honolulu and Seattle, Hawaiian is adding a fourth daily widebody flight between late November 2025 and mid-April 2026, replacing an existing A321neo service. The new schedule includes a morning departure from Honolulu and an early evening return from Seattle, bringing the total to six daily flights, including two operated by Alaska Airlines.
