India, Russia Close To Signing ‘Landmark’ Joint Venture Agreement On S-400 Triumf Air Defence System
India and Russia are close to finalizing a "landmark" joint venture (JV) pact
on the S-400 Triumf air defence (AD) system. The S-400 Triumf is a highly
advanced surface-to-air missile system that provides a significant boost to
India’s air defence capabilities. India signed a deal with Russia in October
2018 to purchase the S-400 Triumf system for $5.4 billion.
According to
