Jetcraft enters new market to source pre-owned aircraft for defense missions
The business aircraft sales and acquisition firm Jetcraft is branching into the special missions market to source and prepare pre-owned aircraft for defense and governmental operators.
On November 10, 2025, the US-company announced the launch of its new division ‘Jetcraft Special Missions’ which will focus on aircraft for medevac, surveillance, aerial firefighting, military training, and Head of State transportation.
Known normally for aircraft transactions involving private jets manufactured by companies such as Gulfstream and Bombardier, Jetcraft said the new venture represented a “natural evolution”.
The company said that sourced aircraft will be delivered “as-is or in pre-modification condition to mission houses or government customers”.
Stéphane Leroy will join the company as CEO of Jetcraft Special Missions after previously working for Thales and Bombardier with government and special missions customers.
Last week we delivered MSN 4452 to Asman Airlines—our third placement with the carrier. President Raphael Haddad was on-site in Kyrgyzstan to welcome the aircraft, reinforcing our global reach and commitment to every milestone.#JetcraftCommercial #AircraftDelivery pic.twitter.com/cum4C1JeVn— Jetcraft (@JetcraftCorp) September 9, 2025 “As the world’s largest buyer and seller of pre-owned aircraft, this is a natural evolution of what Jetcraft does – bringing cost effective pre-owned solutions and expertise. There is a large and growing requirement for Special Missions Aircraft and we believe we have a highly compelling offer to address it,” said Leroy.
Jetcraft Special Missions will be headquartered in the UAE and draw on Jetcraft’s 60 years of experience in aircraft sales.
“The creation of Jetcraft Special Missions is an important step in expanding our services and we’re delighted to have Stéphane head this new venture, which will be unique in its ability to offer pre-owned solutions to clients. His technical expertise and commercial insight make him the ideal leader, ensuring we deliver the same standard of excellence Jetcraft is known for across every market we serve,” said Jahid Fazal-Karim, the Jetcraft owner.
