Lann-Bihoué Air Show
On Sunday, May 10, 2026, join us in Lann-Bihoué for an air show marking the 80th anniversary of the famous naval air base in Morbihan.
80 years—that calls for a celebration! To mark its eight decades, the Lann-Bihoué Naval Air Base is hosting an air show, a festival, and a magnificent celebration, with Dassault Aviation, of course, among the many partners. It was in 1946, in 1946, that the French Air and Space Force took possession of the current site (where more than 15,000 German soldiers were still stationed as of May 8, 1945) never to leave it again, transforming it into a major air facility in western France—and more specifically in Brittany.
To celebrate the occasion in style, the skies over Ploemeur (in the suburbs of Lorient) will host a sizeable fleet of aircraft of all kinds. Among the historic aircraft scheduled to appear are the Junkers 52, the Alizé, the Zéphyr, the Spitfire, the Corsair, the P-51 Mustang, the Bréguet XIV, and the MD 312 Flamant, among others. Modern aircraft include the CAP 221, the SR20, and the Dash 8.
As for modern French military aircraft, the Rafale Marine and Rafale B, the Falcon 50M and Falcon 10M, the Hawkeye, and the Panther, NH90, and H160 helicopters… Finally, regarding foreign aircraft, the Panavia Tornado, the F-16, the C-130 Hercules, and many others are scheduled to appear. On the ground, many of you (40,000 seats are available) will come to enjoy the many activities: booths of all kinds, static displays, and, of course, a performance by the famous Lann-Bihoué bagad.
Lann-Bihoué Air Show. May 10, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Lann-Bihoué Naval Air Base, 56350 Quéven.
