LATAM Airlines unveils cabin interiors for new E195 E2 fleet 

On July 28, 2026, LATAM Airlines unveiled the cabin interiors for its new Embraer E195 E2 fleet, expected to enter service in the last quarter of 2026. 

The South American carrier has opted for a configuration with 136 seats in the 2-2 layout which is typical of this aircraft type.  

Two classes of service will be offered onboard, with up to 20 seats in Premium Economy and the rest in regular Economy class. 

Miquel Ros / AeroTimeWhile all seats will recline and feature adjustable head rests and in-seat power outlets and USB-C charging ports, those in the Premium Economy section (which will feature a different headrest color) will offer extra legroom and a higher degree of recline. Premium Economy passengers will also benefit from a personalized service onboard. 

LATAM’s Embraer fleet will be fitted with the LATAM Play inflight entertainment platform, which gives passengers access to movies and other types of audiovisual content. The aircraft will also offer internet connectivity, provided by satellite operator SES.

LATAM publicly showcased its first E195 E2s in June 2026 during a media visit to Embraer’s manufacturing facility in Sao José dos Campos, Brazil, which was attended by AeroTime. This was barely nine months after the airline had placed an order with the Brazilian aircraft maker for up to 74 aircraft of this type (24 of which, firm, and the other 50, purchase options). 

LATAM Airlines plans to operate its Embraer fleet primarily in Brazil, a country in which it aims to strengthen its regional network connecting an increasing number of tier two and three cities.
