Raids Aviation
For this August/September issue, the bimonthly magazine “Raids Aviation” is devoting a large portion of its contents to the legendary La Ferté-Alais air show, which is held every spring.
For this end-of-summer issue, the magazine’s editorial team—with a magnificent tricolor Rafale on the cover—is offering readers an extensive feature article in the form of a guided tour of the La Ferté-Alais air show. The event is sometimes referred to as “Le Temps des hélices” and attracts approximately 40,000 spectators every year, with 2024 marking the 51st edition of the event.
Continuing in France, the editorial team offers a guided tour of the Air and Space Museum at Le Bourget. The magazine also takes a behind-the-scenes look at the anti-drone system (LAD) used by the French Air Force during the Paris Olympic Games. A considerable portion of this issue is devoted to the US Air Force and its role in Europe and on the African continent. Not to mention a close-up on the Pakistani Army’s JF-17 Thunder, pages dedicated to international and French news, the inter-allied training via the European Tactical Airlift Programme-Course, and much more. All in all, an excellent read to close out the summer season!
