In this issue, the editors of the “Raids Aviation” bimonthly magazine take a look at the most prestigious air shows in France and the rest of Europe.
For this last issue of 2023 and first of 2024 (with a Rafale on the cover), the “Raids Aviation” team features the air shows that take place all over Europe every year. The team devotes a special report to these major events, featuring the Zigairmeet (Switzerland), Air Tattoo, Duxford (UK) and Air Legend (France, Melun-Villaroche airfield) air shows, all of which are must-sees for enthusiasts! Still on the subject of events, the editorial team takes stock of the 50th anniversary of the Ferté-Alais air show, another date not to be missed by French fans!
Also featured in this issue is the withdrawal of the French Air Force’s last Boeing KC-135FR tanker, which was stationed at Air Base 125 in Istres. The aircraft came into service in the 1960s and was inextricably linked with the Mirage IV.
