For this October-November 2025 issue, the editors of Raids Aviation put refueling maneuvers on the front page.
This is the penultimate issue of the year for Raids Aviation! To mark the occasion, the team behind the bimonthly magazine takes a closer look at an aerial maneuver that is somewhat obscure to the uninitiated: in-flight refueling, with explanations of the equipment, personnel, and expertise involved. To announce this feature, the magazine has put the Rafale on the cover, reminding readers in its pages of the many aspects of this exercise, the first trials of which took place (brace yourselves!) in the 1920s!
Other topics covered in the magazine include a look back at the centenary of the Hyères naval air base and a focus on the 2025 editions of the Roissy-Meaux Airshow and the Biscarrosse International Seaplane Rally (RIHB). Also on the menu is a close-up look at the relocation of Mirage 2000 activities at the beginning of the summer to the Cazaux air base (La-Teste-de-Buch, Gironde).
