Malaysia Airlines reinstates codeshare partnership with Uzbekistan Airways
Malaysia Airlines and Uzbekistan Airways have announced the reinstatement of their codeshare partnership, enhancing connectivity for customers traveling across Southeast and Central Asia.
Under the partnership, Malaysia Airways “MH” flight code was introduced on the Islam Karimov Tashkent International Airport (TAS) to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) route operated by Uzbekistan Airways, marking its entry into Central Asia.
This offers Malaysia Airlines’ passengers a direct link to the Central Asian region, further expanding its global network and supporting the growing demand for international travel.
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan Airways has expanded its reach by placing its “HY” flight code on selected routes operated by Malaysia Airlines.
Uzbekistan Airways passengers now have convenient access to travel across Malaysia Airlines’ domestic network. These destinations offer travelers an opportunity to explore other countries in the Southeast Asian region.
The codeshare partnership also includes baggage check-in through to passengers’ final destination without the need for re-checking at transit airports.Tickets for the new routes are now available to purchase via the airlines’ official website, sales offices and via authorized agents.
