MiG killer gets new tail flash to mark 60th anniversary of Japan and U.S. defense alliance
A U.S. Air Force F-15C, AF 85-0104, assigned to the 67th Fighter Squadron at Kadena, Japan has been painted with a new tail flash to mark the 60th anniversary of Japan and U.S. defense alliance.

The jet scored a MiG-23 during the first Gulf War on Jan. 26, 1991 using a AIM-7 missile.
The new paint scheme pays homage to the F-100 that the 67th Fighter Squadron flew 60 years ago.
