– Leonardo e Pratt & Whitney Canada hanno annunciato oggi di aver completato con successo il primo volo di un elicottero AW139, alimentato con motori PT6C-67C, utilizzando carburante SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) al 100%. Effettuato presso lo stabilimento Leonardo di Cascina Costa di Samarate (VA) il 21 novembre, dopo un accurato collaudo a terra, il volo della durata di 75 minuti ha permesso di valutare vari sistemi e le prestazioni dell’impianto propulsivo con molteplici variazioni di potenza.
