Ultimi giorni di dicembre, termina il 2023 e di solito è il momento di fare i conti dell’anno che si chiude ma io vado in controtendenza e voglio buttarmi nel 2024 con qualche previsione (poche!) e con un piccolo elenco di eventi mondiali ai quali potrebbe essere interessante partecipare (e cercherò di farlo).
Cominciamo con le previsioni che mi auguro vengano smentite dai fatti ma ci conto poco.
Si abbassano gradualmente i riflettori sull’Ucraina per concentrarsi molto più a sud, su una guerra che ormai molti hanno il coraggio di chiamare un conflitto di sterminio, quello in atto in Palestina. Nella giornata di Natale il 25 Dicembre il presidente israeliano Benjamin Netanyahu, ormai con un basso consenso nel suo paese, ha lanciato un altro attacco aereo che ha generato oltre 100 morti fra i civili, facendo così salire il bilancio delle vittime dall’inizio del conflitto scoppiato il 7 ottobre a 20.674. Vittime sono soprattutto donne e bambini.
