Il Sudan si presta a tecniche narrative che, come in un film, iniziando con quelli che si immaginano essere gli ultimi fotogrammi a colori, riportano tutto ad una slow motion color seppia; un osservatore, partito nel ‘60 circa ed approdato a Khartoum prima ed a Juba poi, nell’agosto di questo sventuratissimo anno, sarebbe sicuramente disorientato dalla constatazione che non esiste più un solo Sudan, e che la folla che lo circonda sta festeggiando il termine di un ulteriore conflitto durato ben 17 anni.
