Un immenso 1° aviere Leonardo Fabbri, illumina la manifestazione Nazionale anche in questi Campionati all’aperto, monopolizzando il gradino più alto del podio. Nella sua specialità, il getto del peso, si laurea Campione Italiano Assoluto con la misura di 21.99 metri, avvicinando sempre di più il Record Italiano Assoluto e facendo registrare la seconda prestazione Italiana alla time nonché seconda prestazione stagionale Mondiale.
