PAL deploys A350-1000 daily on Manila–San Francisco route ahead of year-end peak
Philippine Airlines (PAL) has announced that it is now operating its flagship Airbus A350-1000 daily between Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) in Manila and San Francisco International Airport (SFO), ahead of the year-end travel peak.
The airline says that the daily deployment gives travelers on the US West Coast access to its newest long-haul product every day of the week. It also adds premium seating as the busiest travel season of the year approaches, when many Filipino-Americans fly home for the holidays.
San Francisco is one of PAL’s most important North American gateways and a key link to the large Filipino-American community on the West Coast. Through Manila, passengers from San Francisco can also connect to destinations across the Philippines and the wider Asia Pacific region.
Inside PAL’s A350-1000
The A350-1000 is the newest and largest aircraft in PAL’s fleet. It seats 382 passengers: 42 in Business Class suites (arranged in a 1-2-1 layout), 24 in Premium Economy and 316 in Economy.
All cabins have 4K inflight entertainment screens, inflight Wi-Fi, in-seat power and both USB-A and USB-C charging ports.
According to PAL, the aircraft also offers better fuel efficiency, more operational flexibility and greater cargo capacity, supporting the growth of its long-haul network.

From November 1, 2026, both flights will move to new timings. PR104 will continue to depart Manila at 23:15 local time, but will arrive in San Francisco an hour earlier, at 19:45 local time. PR105 will leave San Francisco an hour earlier, at 22:40 local time, and will still arrive in Manila at 05:35 local time.
The timing changes are likely linked to the end of Daylight Saving Time in the US on November 1, 2026.
