Philippine Airlines welcomes third Airbus A350-1000 aircraft
Philippine Airlines (PAL) has taken delivery of its third Airbus A350-1000 as the carrier continues building out its long-haul fleet.
The aircraft, with registration RP-C3512, arrived in Manila from Airbus’ delivery center in Toulouse, France, on July 29, 2026, and will begin commercial service once regulatory and operational preparations are complete.

The A350-1000 serves as PAL’s flagship aircraft for long-haul routes, featuring the airline’s newest Business, Premium Economy, and Economy cabins alongside improved fuel efficiency, lower emissions, and greater cargo capacity compared to older aircraft.
Philippine Airlines is the first, and so far only, airline in Southeast Asia flying the A350-1000.
Entering service on the Manila-San Francisco route
The newly delivered aircraft is set to make its debut on PAL’s Manila-San Francisco route starting August 5, 2026, initially flying three times a week, on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, before shifting to daily service in September 2026.
RP-C3512 is the third of nine A350-1000 aircraft PAL ordered in 2023. That original order has since grown. In July 2026, at the Farnborough International Airshow, the airline announced commitments for nine additional A350-1000s and 15 Boeing 787-10 Dreamliners, with options for five more of each type, moves the airline says reflect its broader push to modernize its fleet and expand its international network.
The delivery also comes as PAL continues its wider push toward international growth, having been invited in June 2026 to join the oneworld alliance.
