RAF orders the development of newest variant of Captor-E AESA radar for its Eurofighters
The Royal Air Force has ordered the development of the most advanced version of the Captor-E AESA radar for its Eurofighters.
The $420 million contract to BAE Systems and Leonardo will help sustain hundreds of jobs, Leonardo says in the press release.
The European Common Radar System Mark 2 (ECRS Mk2) features wide-band electronic attack capabilty and enhanced multi-channel receiver.
